In the competitive arena known as Florida High School Football, very few positions demand as much intellect, physicality and athleticism as corner back and Venice senior CB. Micah Walker-Brown displays all of that every Friday night. Last season, the strength of the championship team, was the offense. Many of those players have since moved on and a pleasant surprise in 2025, is how much the defense have bonded, and they are playing really good. "When you spend so much time with a position group like we do and then add in the summer heat, we are a really close group." Micah continues "When the season starts, we have already done a majority of the work and playing the game is actually the fun part."
Venice consistently plays one of the hardest schedules in the state of Florida and Walker -Brown has faced off against some of the best receivers, several of whom have division I football offers, and he has done an outstanding job. 5 solo tackles and 1 pass defended against Riverview, 8 solo tackles against the IMG National team and 5 solo tackles and an interception against Bishop Verot. There are a lot of individual players who have stepped up this season to help improve the Indian defense, and Walker Brown continues to be an excellent example of when resilience meets hard work.
