Leadership is earned, not given, and Wellen Park senior linebacker Robert Corrigan has spent the entire often season, working to prove he is ready to be the leader of the Eagles defense. As Wellen Park begins its innagural season, building a culture is the first thing that the players spoke about. "When you are a part of a different team, you just fall in line with the culture that was built before you arrived. Here at Wellen Park, it is all of our responsibilities to build a culture that will allow us to not only be successful this season but build a blueprint that will guide the players in the future."

Corrigan has developed into a physical, instinctive linebacker who plays with relentless effort. He has a knack for reading offenses, filling running lanes, and pursuing ball carriers from sideline to sideline. His willingness to take on blockers and finish tackles has made him one of the cornerstones of Wellen Park’s defensive unit. 

The 2026 season promises to test Wellen Park against a demanding schedule, but with Robert Corrigan leading the defense, the Eagles will have a solid presence capable of making game-changing plays and inspiring those around him on both sides of the ball.
