Louisen Desinor Braden River Football

With a new coaching staff, a renewed sense of confidence, and another year of experience under his belt, Braden River senior quarterback Louisen Desinor enters the 2026 season determined to help return the Pirates to contention. 

Desinor has steadily developed into one of the area’s most intriguing quarterbacks. After transferring from Southeast before the 2025 season, he immediately took command of the Pirates’ offense, bringing poise, leadership, and a strong arm to a team looking for stability at the position. Before arriving at Braden River, he threw for 1,877 yards and 16 touchdowns at Southeast, showcasing the playmaking ability that made him one of the region’s top quarterbacks. 

Last season gave Desinor valuable experience against some of the toughest competition in the state. He showed flashes throughout the year, including a 201-yard, one-touchdown performance in a season-opening victory over Cypress Creek and a 228-yard, two-touchdown effort against powerhouse Manatee. Desinor is confident in his team and coaches and believes this will be a special season. "The Braden River standard is the same no matter who plays or who coaches, our standards stay the same. I think what is key for this team, is changing some of our bad habits, which would allow us to reach those standards."

For Louisen Desinor, this fall represents more than just his final high school season. It’s an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy by helping restore Braden River football and proving that the Pirates are ready to compete at the highest level. 

As the 2026 season approaches, Braden River will rely on its veteran quarterback to guide an offense looking to become one of the most improved units in the area. If Desinor continues the momentum he built during the spring, the Pirates could surprise plenty of opponents this season.
