Kyvon Love Riverview Football

In the trenches, where games are often won and lost, Riverview senior defensive tackle Kyvon Love has become the heartbeat of the Rams’ defense. Standing tall and playing with relentless energy, Love has been a constant disruption for opposing offenses this season — commanding double teams and still finding ways to make big plays.

Through the first half of the year, Love has recorded 32 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks, anchoring a defensive line that prides itself on physicality and discipline. His quick first step off the snap and ability to shed blocks have made him a nightmare for interior linemen trying to slow him down.

With a 6-1 record in 2025, people have really begun to take notice of what is going on in the Ram Bowl. Love was clear on what he felt has been the biggest reason for the Rams turn around this season. "We have a really good connection with everyone in our locker room. Before the season, I was chosen to be a captain and I made it a personal goal to try and help the younger players, just like the seniors did for me when I got brought up to varsity."
