Kane Judson Venice Football

Venice senior LB Kane Judson has played Varsity football for the Indians, all four years of his career. He is also a P for the Venice baseball team as well. Two weeks ago against Port Charlotte, Venice was faced with a 4th and goal from the Pirates, at the one yard line. With Port Charlotte having all of the momentum and an opportunity to tie Venice late in the game, Judson beat not just one but 2 separate blockers to sack Logan Flaherty in the backfield and preserve the win for the Indians. "Actually I didn’t know how big of a play that was until we watched the film. I was just trying to get to the ball and stop the play." During his football career, he has won and lost a State Championship. As a Junior, he was part of the baseball team that won the 2025 USA Baseball National Highschool Invitational.

The Venice Indians have built their reputation on toughness, discipline, and a winning culture. This season, linebacker Kane Judson is proving to be one of the driving forces behind the Indians’ defensive identity.

Judson plays with a relentless motor, flying sideline to sideline to shut down run plays while also showing the awareness to drop into coverage when needed. His physicality and instinct for the football make him a natural fit at the heart of Venice’s defense. Whether he’s plugging a gap, chasing down a running back, or delivering a statement hit across the middle, Judson brings intensity on every snap.
