Josh Harris Riverview Basketball

Riverview Rams basketball is off to a great start this season, 5-2 and with a big game looming against Sarasota, Senior SG Josh Harris is a big reason why. Harris is averaging 29.7 ppg, 51% from the field and 42% from three, its hard for me to understand why schools aren’t tripping over themselves to recruit him. Four out of the 5 players on Max Preps "All America Team" average at least 10 points less than Harris.  

But Harris’ impact goes beyond scoring. The senior has grown into a vocal leader, setting the tone with his work ethic in practice and his composure during pressure moments. His experience has been especially valuable for a Riverview team that leans on chemistry and discipline to compete deep into games. 

"Josh understands the game," said Riverview coach Jeff Harris. "He knows when to be aggressive, when to move the ball and how to keep everyone calm. That’s huge for us." With his steady presence and senior leadership, Josh Harris is proving to be a driving force for Riverview as the Rams look to make a strong run this season. 

"I just want to help the team any way I can," Harris said. "If we’re playing together and trusting each other, good things happen."
