Israel McNair Venice Football

In the trenches, where every inch matters and games are often won or lost, Venice senior defensive tackle Israel McNair has become a force that opposing offenses can’t ignore. With his combination of size, strength, and discipline, McNair has established himself as a tone-setter who thrives on physicality and pride.

At 6-foot-1 and over 260 pounds, McNair combines strength with surprising quickness, constantly disrupting plays before they ever have a chance to develop. Whether it’s blowing up a screen, collapsing the pocket, or stuffing a run on third-and-short, he’s the kind of player who makes life easier for everyone around him.

As a senior, McNair is focused on being a college football player and his goal after his playing days are over, is to get into Journalism. "I’ve always been interested in broadcasting like Stephen A Smith and Kendrick Perkins." There is a matter to be addressed before McNair gets to college and that is the last 5 games of his senior season. "Everyone always talks about a legacy, I guess it would be pretty good to be the first class in Venice football history, to win back to back championships."
